Most megmutatjuk hogyan. A designról vállalkozásoknak című konferencián közérthetően, a vállalkozások igényeit figyelembe véve, angol és magyar szakértők segítségével mutatjuk be a témát. A konferencián előadásokat hallgathat a design kézzelfogható, üzleti értékéről, kérdéseket tehet fel a kerekasztal-beszélgetés résztvevőinek és részt vehet egy workshopon, ahol megtapasztalhatja, hogyan járulhat hozzá a design vállalkozása sikeréhez.

A konferencia részvevői a Birmingham City University, a Design Terminál, a Lancaster University, a Moholy-Nagy Művészeti Egyetem, a Nemzetgazdasági Minisztérium és a Nemzeti Kutatási, Fejlesztési és Innovációs Hivatal képviselői. A konferencia házigazdája és a kerekasztal-beszélgetés moderátora Dedushkov Maxim.

 A konferencia és az azt követő workshop a Design For Europe támogatása révén ingyenes, de regisztrációhoz kötött.

David Hands, Course Leader for MA Design Management at Lancaster University

David’s areas of expertise include: design policy analysis and implementing technology transfer systems through design. He has completed doctoral research into embedding ‘crime resistant’ thinking and tools into the briefing process for both product and spatial designers. David has written and published over 60 international academic papers and articles on a variety of design management topics.

Gergely Böszörményi-Nagy, Director of Design Terminal

Gergely earned his MA in International Relations from the Budapest Corvinus University, he has worked as a strategist for winning political, corporate and non-profit campaigns for years in Budapest and Washingon, DC. From 2010 to 2012 he served as Deputy Strategy Director at the Department of Government Communications. As the head of Design Terminal, he’s now leading the state agency responsible for creative industries in Hungary.

John Chisholm, Senior Research Associate at Imagination Lancaster

John has a background in innovation and design management, he is a Senior Research Associate at Imagination Lancaster, an open and exploratory research lab at Lancaster University, which investigates emerging issues, technologies and practices to advance knowledge and develop solutions that contribute to the common good. Formerly he was the Innovation Manager at Business Link Northwest where he managed a team of innovation specialists supporting and advising enterprises to improve their innovation capabilities.

József Fülöp, Rector of Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design

Working as an art director, József has lead the development of the program and the corporate image of different television channels and animation studios, while directing animation advertisement spots, one-off short films and developing interactive content. József has been a lecturer at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest (MOME) since 2001, the leader of the Animation program since 2005, and rector since 2014. In addition to his role as a teacher and rector, Jószef oversees the international training programs of the MOME animation department and acts as the producer of diploma films and as director of KISKAKAS international animation festival.

Kármen Billo, Deputy Head of Enterprise Development Department at Ministry of National Economy

Melinda Hosszú, Strategic and Programme Planning Consultant at National Research, Development and Innovation Office

Melinda earned her MA in International Business and Economics from the Budapest Corvinus University. She worked on building the support system for research, development and innovation as a strategist and programme planner at the National Research, Development and Innovation Office. Formerly she coordinated the “Mentor program” for 2 years for innovative start-ups and young enterprises. She took part in elaboration of governmental measures supporting business incubators and investigates the Hungarian innovation ecosystem.

The discussion is moderated by Maxim Dedushkov

Maxim is the co-founder of Dedushkov, an innovation strategy and holistic design firm. He is a design expert and service designer who has been part of the design scene since 2008. He is also the co-founder of Hello Wood, an international wood workshop and festival, originator of HOLIS, a holistic design summer university organized by Design Terminal, founder of MOME line, the design agency of the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, founder of MOME ID, a user interface course, and the driving force behind the Budapest Design Meetup.
